Our Plasmalogen comes from Ascidians, producers of a wide variety of bioactive secondary metabolites from cyclic peptides to aromatic alkaloids.

Plasmalogens are a unique class of membrane phospholipids enriched in polyunsaturated fatty acids abundant in the heart and brain. Plasmalogens are involved in structuring cell membranes and mediating signals.
